Why Adopt ?
Because we want to have a child to love and to have a family, it's that simple.
We believe that today's technology can create just about anything. Yes, fertility drugs and medical procedures may have been successful in creating our baby, but we do not feel like that is God's plan for us. We believe if God planned for us to have a biological child it would have happened without the use of drugs or medical intervention.
The following describes our feelings best;
Look now; I myself am he! There is no other God but me!

On this day in 1978, doctors in Great Britain announced the birth of the world’s first successful test-tube baby. Many people celebrated the medical breakthrough that made the conception of Louise Joy Brown possible; others worried about future implications for possible misuse of this medical breakthrough. Today the process of in vitro fertilization is a commonplace procedure used by infertile couples around the world.
In July 1997, scientists announced the birth of Dolly, a sheep cloned from a cell of another sheep. Scientists had previously believed that mammals could not be successfully cloned. The news intensified the ongoing debate on whether cloning should be allowed in animals and humans.
We live in an amazing era of technology, when doctors are able to extend life and manipulate it beyond anything ever dreamed before. We need to remember that any knowledge or means we have comes from God, who holds “the life of every living thing in his hand” (Job 12:10). No matter how far we advance in medicine and science, God is the only one who ultimately possess the power of life and death.
Scientists will never be able to give life like God does. Jesus explained to Nicodemus, “Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life” (John 3:6) God gives us the gift of life when we are conceived; he bestows new, everlasting life when we become believers in Jesus. Someday, the Holy Spirit will give life to our dead bodies. Our new, eternal life in Christ is something that can’t be cloned or mixed up in a test tube. And it’s a life worth living for.
