Referral Day

Sorry not much has been going on lately so I've took a break from blogging. We've started the process of updating our paperwork with DHR and getting ready for a home study update. It's hard to believe a year has gone by since we started this journey. Soon we'll be sending in paperwork to Atlanta and begin the long wait for another approval. It's overwhelming to think of everything we must do and the chance that we might have to redo paperwork more than one time because of the increased wait times.
Today is a day that I love; referral day. It means that families are being brought together AND everyone waiting takes a step forward in line. Congratulations to the 15 families with CHI and the many more families out there that have received referrals this week. Not much longer until you bring your precious babies home!!
